My name is Cara Brennan and I am one of the Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) at McCutcheon this year. This is my seventh year working with the Chicago Public Schools and my sixth year working at McCutcheon Elementary. I have wanted to be a Speech-Language Pathologist since high school and graduated from the University of Michigan with a dual Bachelor’s Degree in Neuroscience and Linguistics. I then attended Northwestern University, where I graduated with my Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology. In 2020, I completed Gallaudet’s Deaf and Hard of Hearing Infants, Toddlers and their Families: Collaboration and Leadership Interdisciplinary Graduate Certificate Program. I grew up on the East Coast in New Jersey and enjoy running, baking, reading, and walking with my dog, Nola.
