Hello, and welcome to my Music Page!
I am Mr. Tearse (rhymes with nurse), and I am proud to be the new music teacher at McCutcheon Elementary! I am originally from Iowa City but moved to Chicago in 2016 to attend DePaul University and study jazz saxophone performance and music education.
In my spare time, I love to play music, hike, hang out at the lakefront, and be with family. I am very excited to start the school year and begin my career here at McCutcheon.

Important Information
- Bring a reusable water bottle that can be refilled from the water fountains. We have a filtered water bottle refilling station.2.
- Please ensure your child starts the school year right by bringing their school supplies on the first day of school.3.
- Attendance matters! Our day starts at 8:45 am and ends at 3:45 pm. Please be sure to help your child get to class on time!
