Hello everyone! My name is Mr. Tearse and I am the music teacher here at McCutcheon Elementary. I graduated from DePaul University in 2020 with degrees in Jazz Saxophone Performance and Music Education. I love listening to music, performing music, and teaching music to others. I believe everyone is capable of connecting with music and my goal is to help my students each day to reach their potential and personal goals. In my free time I love to go hiking in the mountains and to backpack (hike out and camp multiple nights in the wilderness), seeing live music, swimming in Lake Michigan, going to new restaurants, and spending time with my two cats!
