Welcome to a new school year! My name is Jessica Covaci, and I am the 3rd grade Special Education Resource Teacher at McCutcheon. I am excited to be your child’s special education teacher this year! I feel strongly about creating a welcoming and comfortable learning environment for all students.
My goal is to help students meet their IEP goals and improve their reading, writing, math, and social skills. This year, in the resource classroom, we will be working on improving our reading fluency, reading comprehension, writing skills, and math concepts/computation skills.

3rd Glade Diverse Learner Classroom Expectations
School begins promptly at 8:45 AM.
It is important that your child is on time every day to make progress on their goals and academic success.
In our resource room, we will use station learning. Students will be in small groups and rotate throughout the classroom.
Students will have their guided reading/math group with me, time for independent work, and technology - to practice reading independently and learn math facts.
