why McCutcheon?

Holistic Educational Approach

At McCutcheon, we focus on creating well-rounded individuals who are prepared for the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century. Our integrated curriculum brings together STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) and SEL (Social and Emotional Learning) to cultivate both intellectual curiosity and emotional intelligence in every child.

STEAM-Powered Curriculum

Our STEAM program is meticulously designed to provide students with a rich, all-encompassing educational journey. By integrating science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics, we foster an environment that nurtures creativity, encourages problem-solving, and sharpens critical thinking skills, ensuring our students are prepared for the challenges of tomorrow.

Social-Emotional Learning (SEL)

Our Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) program plays a crucial role in our educational approach. It ensures students are equipped with the essential emotional and ethical tools vital for their personal development and lifelong learning journey.

“We place a strong emphasis on Social-Emotional Learning (SEL). We've allocated specific times during the day for practices like 'Calm Classrooms,' where we begin with breathing exercises. Compliment-giving is also integrated into our SEL curriculum, reinforcing the importance of emotional well-being alongside academic growth.”
